Nayati Appoints Dealer-Focused Sales Chief

His primary role will be to develop relationships with both distributors and kitchen design houses. Nayati recently changed its management structure in the UK and is now looking to add new faces to its sales and marketing team as it seeks to grow the brand in the market. Chief executive Mark Campey insists the brand has a solid platform from which to grow the business in 2015.

“There is increased interest in the company and we are seeing the order books grow, with quote conversions hitting unprecedented levels,” he said. “Nayati UK has just topped £1m of confirmed orders for the first half of 2015, which is significantly ahead of budget.” Nayati officially launched its UK operations at Hotelympia last year and has since joined buying groups Cedabond and ENSE, which it credits with helping to increase the market’s understanding of its offering.

Its products are manufactured at Nayati’s global operation in Indonesia. It is one of the largest suppliers of cooking equipment to the Asian market. Nayati in the UK is shortly due to move into new headquarters based in Kingston Upon Hull. “We will be completing that move later this month,” confirmed Campey. “The £800,000 facility will house over £1m of stock and a large parts holding along with the company’s UK head office function and a development kitchen and showroom.”
