Work on a new kitchen for Michelin star chef Nigel Howarth at Northcote Manor in Lancashire, has recently been completed by C & C Catering Equipment and we are delighted to have been selected to provide our NES 4000 DG Infra-red Salamnder Grill for their new facility. The unit offers a flexible cooking, warming and holding solution for a diverse menu, is positioned facing the pass and as we understand it, is performing very well in a kitchen that produces some of the finest cuisine in the UK.

Chef patron Nigel Haworth of Northcote Manor is not only the proud owner of one  Michelin star, he has also lays claim to reviving a menu with food that has been lost to diners in recent years in England, but that is very much alive in France. The Cuisine de terroir –  local dishes based on regional ingredients now prepared and served at Northcote this spring will include Lancashire hotpot, with  heather-fed breeds of sheep, slow-cooked boneless knuckle of Herdwick mutton, cucumber and tomato, pak choy

and potato wafers or seared British White beef, wild herb and salsify salad, lime caramel and roast marrow bone.
